Since 1891 these delicious brittles called Kisses are manufactured in the old furnace in via Roma 64 at San Marco dei Cavoti, and with the same dedication we continue in this business to merge tradition, authenticity and quality. With the attitude of the small craftsman, the repository of a great and ancient art, with these delicacies I aim to evoke the soft taste of things of the past. A crunchy almond Puglia and noccioledi Giffoni notch covered with fine dark chocolate. Every day begins with the selection of raw materials of high quallità. Hands and eyes travel experts pick one by one the almonds and hazelnuts which are then chopped. In a copper pot is melted caramelized sugar that is waiting to receive the chopped almonds and hazelnuts. Even here there are no cars, thermometers or timers: each day is the art of pastry that decides the time when you combine the ingredients. The crisp, still warm, is laid on a table and applied by hand with a rolling pin. The bits of crunchy are cut and re-selected so that only the perfect ones to come to the last phase: the dark chocolate coating with fine quality.
